Birthing Ball 75cm
Our birthing ball can be safely used throughout your pregnancy, labour and the postpartum period. During pregnancy, it has the benefits of helping you maintain correct posture, safely helps to strengthen your abdominals, and works the pelvic floor while lessening the impact on the vulnerable areas of your body.
Using the birthing ball can help promote a correct posture while sitting on it, which may encourage your baby to move into an optimal position for birth. When sitting on the ball, it brings the weight of the baby forward, helping provide relief from the general discomfort and back pain felt in pregnancy. This position also keeps your pelvis open and takes pressure off your lower back during labour.
In the postpartum period, the birthing ball offers support to your vulnerable body, helping to rehabilitate your core muscles, pelvic floor and spine. As a bonus, it’s great for sitting on and bouncing to soothe your baby!
This a max Ø 75cm (diameter) inflatable ball that comes in yellow or green. The pump is not included, but you can buy it here.
Made with latex and phthalate-free PVC.
Note: As with any inflatable, this ball should not be used on any surface containing sharp, pointed objects due to the risk of puncture and bursts.
Please ensure you use the correct pump to inflate the ball as advised above. If you use the incorrect pump, it may not generate enough pressure to inflate the ball to its maximum diameter.
